I have never used OMG but in this case I have to. I was in Nash this weekend to attend my cousin's daughters wedding. So while there I figured why not see if Raul and Robbie wanted to get together for a few cold ones. I knew they were in the studio and figured i had little chance of getting together. I got word back that they couldn't break away but if I had time I could stop by the studio. Hell yeah I did. So I swung by and as I walked in they were getting ready to listen to the tracks. WOW! This is the best the band has ever sounded. You can hear the thrill of being back together in each and every note. I was blown away and still have not recovered. This cd has something for everyone. You can't help but get up on your feet and dance. It was like riding Space Mountain for the time. You go in blindly not knowing what to expect and yet every twist and turn brings another great surprise. And like Space Mountain you can't wait to take another ride. I am gonna be pacing the floor waiting for the drop date this summer. I can tell you that we won't have to wait that long as the plan is to release the first single in April before Stagecoach.

I'll write more tomorrow. It's midnight here and I need some sleep.

One other note. The Mavs are playing the Stagecoach feast on that Saturday.

Apart from the fact that what happened to me after I got on Space Mountain the first time was not something I look forward to experiencing again....this sounds very exciting!!!

Oh man, how cool!  Dave, that first-time experience you describe is why I often like to put on an album without having heard anything beforehand.
