I've been so encouraged by everyone's wonderful support of my venture into publishing... thanks  Kiss Kiss ... and I have been trying to promote my work and wrote to our local BBC radio station. To my surprise they asked me to the studio to do an interview.

I was very nervous but I thought of Raul and how cool, calm and laid back he always is when he is interviewed and tried to be coherent, and managed to stay calm - although I'll never be as cool as Raul, no-one could!

Wow!  Lois...you were calm and witty and came off as the pro you are!  Seems like you are headed in the right direction.  Now we can all claim an Indie Author as our own.  Congratulations!

What a great interview Lois! You did a fabulous job....you sounded very cool, calm and collected. I was telling young writer friend about self-publishing and how I thought she should try that. She said that she had heard that it was harder for authors who self-publish to get a publisher because they are no longer considered "new authors". I was pleased to hear that refuted in this interview. How exciting that he knew of a self-published author who got a SIX book deal. Wow! I hope that will be YOU!! I have to share this with my friend. I also love that the term Indie Author.....SOOOO cool! So proud of you Lois! Great job!! Cool Cool Cool

Just listened to your interview Lois. Very good indeed.
My friend has a kindle so she is buying 'Farholm' for me and I will be able to read it from her kindle. Cant wait!!
